+642 It's weird how it's okay to use black and white to describe someone's race, but calling an Asian person "yellow" is politically incorrect, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's because asian people aren't really all that yellow...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

True, but most white people aren't paper white and most black people aren't pitch black either.

Asians are more of an orange color to me.

Except If They're In The Simpsons =].

Well... Asians aren't quite yellow, and black and white aren't quite politically correct anyway.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i don't like racist people :|

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Asians arent that yellow and not all of them are "yellow"

by Anonymous 13 years ago

well asians are a mix between white people and black people so there tan.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Asians aren't a mix of white people and black people. The first people to leave Africa went east into Asia before anyone got to Europe.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Disagreed. Plus, black and white make gray.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm Asian, most of my Asian friends mistake me for white :| Anyway...I'm an Epic Win!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm Asian with a brownish-yellow tan but when I have a tan line, my natural skin is paper white :S

Black people call themselves black, white call themselves white, Asians call themselves Asian. Asians =/= yellow, some are white/peach or with a yellow undertone, SEA are tan-brown. Whites =/= white, most Peach-tan Blacks =/= Completely black, they can be brown, tan, dark brown, mahogany. Some can look black on camera because of lighting.
