It all comes from The Beatles though.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

haha, I agree. Some people would say the same for Mike Jackson.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It doesn't come from the Beatles. Where do you think they got it from?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Itss arguable

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It will probably be completely autotuned. All computerized without any actual instruments or singers.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeaa. Tragic, isn't it?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah. Hopefully there will be a retro trend sometime though...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

We can hope. Just depends on what the people buy

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Nah, pop has lots of power, but the "artists" have a very short shelf life. Until we hit Idiocracy days, there will still be people who value talent and artistic merit over pretty faces and gimmicks.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeaa, i guess. The people who do value talent over beauty are the smartest ones.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I agree. xD That is not to say I think people who create electronic music don't have talent. I totally do; those are the people that are breaking ground. Some genres of industrial are the best, most cutting-edge shit out there. No, I'm not talking about what most people call "techno", or "club" music that consists of poorly remixed pop songs.

(CharlesTG): I would say that right now MGMT is doing a very good job at that.
