If your pet is old and probably about to die, when it's sleeping you check if it's alive, amirite?

:( My cat's old and probabaly going to die soon. When it's sleeping, I "accidentally" bump into him. I have to know my kitty's okay! lol

I do this with my 9 year old dog and 12 year old cat.. Then have a silent spazz attack if they don't move right away.

but some cats live to be 20
and a 9 year old dog is only 49 in human years

I do that with my 19 year old dog and i think he hates me now cuz i wake him up when he's trying to sleep.

I did that with my cat when she got cancer (before we put her down.) :c

I do this with my 11 year old jack russell. He's a heavy sleeper so he gives me a mini heart attack almost everyday. Then I hug the shit out of him once he wakes up and he looks at me like, 'bitch I was having some quality nap time'

I stare at my dog's stomach to see if it's moving before I touch him because I feel terrible when I wake him. :(
