I think it all depends on the people. Like, my boyfriend and I go to school 4 hours apart so it's technically a long distance relationship but we see each other once or twice a month so we survive. I know personally I wouldn't be happy in a relationship where I didn't see the other person at least once a month. However, I know that other people might be okay with that.
