by Anonymous13 years ago
not wall-e
by Anonymous14 years ago
(little b): well i really liked it and i know tons of other people that loved it too
by Anonymous14 years ago
I agree with Toy Story and Finding Nemo. But I also think Ice Age, UP, and Madagascar are good, along with a few others.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Yeah, I didn't really like WALL-E. It was cute, but not my type of movie.
by Anonymous14 years ago
i havent seen ice age or up but madagascar wasnt that good in my opinion.
by Anonymous14 years ago
I@324775 (ashnicoleluvsblg): It's a matter of opinion.
by Anonymous14 years ago
yeah, perhaps i should have said "3 OF the greatest"? that would have sounded better i think though
by Anonymous14 years ago
did you know they are making a Madagascar 3?
by Anonymous13 years ago
yup and I'm NOT going to see it. I don't like the Madagascar movies anymore. I made that comment a year ago. Now my favorite animated movies are How to Train Your Dragon (best animated movie ever, in my opinion), Finding Nemo (still), and Ratatouille.
And Ice Age is still good.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Yeah I didn't like WALL-E either. So I have to disagree :/
by Anonymous14 years ago
toystory is awesome and toystory 3 is sooo cute
by Anonymous14 years ago
I didnt like any of the Toy Stories and I Drop Dead HATE WALL-E, but i LOVE Finding Nemo. Ice Age would've been a batter option
by Anonymous14 years ago
Ew I hate ice age!
by Anonymous14 years ago
I've always liked Ice Age...
by Anonymous14 years ago
You forgot Spirited Away. And Toy Story was just okay.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I like Howl's Moving Castle better
by Anonymous13 years ago
Hayao Miyazaki has some amazing anime movies. Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro are some of my favorites:)
by Anonymous13 years ago
I thought Ponyo was pretty disappointing. It lead up to this amazing event that never really happened.
by Anonymous13 years ago
these are all pixar movies you listed
by Anonymous13 years ago
Finding Nemo is the greatest ever(:
by Anonymous13 years ago
Up.
by Anonymous13 years ago
You forgot How to Train Your Dragon! *despairs*
Also, I was a big fan of Cars, even though it did the worst out of all the Pixar films.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Personally, out of the Pixar films, I've never liked A Bug's Life.
by Anonymous13 years ago
1. Spirited Away
2. Lion King
3. Tarzan
by Anonymous13 years ago
Like I told Vitae, Howl's Moving Castle > Spirited Away for me.
1. Lion King
And I liked Tarzan, it's up there... somewhere
by Anonymous13 years ago
1. Spirit: Stallion of the Cimerron
2. Lion King
3. Finding Nemo
my top 3 :D
by Anonymous13 years ago
Oh yeah, Spirit is also one of my favs....
by Anonymous13 years ago
i love it! the music is amazing, and its just great in general :)
by Anonymous13 years ago
I don't think you can pick a top three. They're all really great. If I had to though, I think my top three would be Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc., and Toy Story. If you were including other Disney films, not just pixar, Beauty and the Beast would be in there too.
by Anonymous13 years ago
they're coming out with a monsters inc 2
by Anonymous13 years ago
They used the phrase "animated movies", so I'm guessing they already included Disney films when they thought of it.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Disney and Pizarro make the best (only?) animated movies.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Pizarro?
by Anonymous13 years ago
Pixar, autocorrect.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Up is my favorite of the Pixar movies, and my favorite CGI movie. The unique characters, the emotion, the breathtaking animation. Simply a masterpiece. Toy Story 3 is right in second place, for CGI films. But I can easily understand anyone who would place Toy Story or Finding Nemo above Up. It's simply a matter of taste.
However, for animated movies in general, I adore The Lion King. The beautiful animation, the catchy songs, a fantastic cast of characters, and wonderful voice-acting. Plus, I've grown up watching it. I'll always have a special attachment to the movie because of its sentimental value. Behind The Lion King is Beauty and the Beast, then a few of the Pixar films.
I've never been a fan of Dreamworks. The animation pales on comparison to Pixar, and I don't like the goofy sense of humor in their movies. And often, their films lack that certain fuzzy, heart-warming element that Pixar has.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Dreamworks has always seemed more immature than Pixar to me. In "The Road to El Dorado" they actually show characters giggling and kissing on top of each other behind a couch. Plus they have more "potty humor" in all of their films. Even their most successful franchise, Shrek, has been ruined by the sequels.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I loved El Dorado, I thought Shrek 2 was the best out of the series. And Kung Fu Panda was off the hizzle, fo shizzle. I still want to see How to Train Your Dragon and Megamind, they both look very good.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Toy Story 3 is actually the only movie that's made me cry...
by Anonymous13 years ago
Up and Finding Nemo were definitely my favorite!
by Anonymous13 years ago
Would Avatar count?
by Anonymous13 years ago
You forgot LION KING! and UP!
by Anonymous13 years ago
Lion King. LION. KING.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Never seen it. But this was almost a year ago. My opinion has DEFINITELY changed.
by Anonymous13 years ago
In addition to most listed above, I also liked Ratatouille and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (if we're only talking computer animated). But Spirited Away was amazing, Nightmare before Christmas and Mulan are also good.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs I think is one of the best of the Dreamworks Pictures. It might not have been completely heart-warming, but I liked the humor of the movie. Finding Nemo, I'd say, is the best Pixar movie that I've seen. Pixar is better at conveying emotion than Dreamworks when it counts.
by Anonymous13 years ago
(Chauncy Pickles): Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs is not a Dreamworks film. It's a Columbia Pictures and Sony production.
by Anonymous13 years ago
That explains SO much.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Whoo Ratatouille Rocks!
by Anonymous13 years ago
Finding Nemo gets kind of lame after awhile.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I like far too many animated movies to pick favorites, but these are a few that no one has mentioned yet that I think everyone should see:
The Road to El Dorado
The Emperor's New Groove
Atlantis: The Lost Empire
And of course the first Toy Story can't be beat, but others have already listed that one :)
by Anonymous13 years ago
These are actually all my favorites! Plus Ratatouille and Monsters Inc.
I really just love them all! :)
by Anonymous13 years ago
Probably Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, and Finding Nemo, with Shrek as a runner-up
by Anonymous13 years ago
Screw your 3D movies, they're unpleasant to watch and meant for little children and child-like adults.
Did we forget Special Effects = Animation in most cases? The Matrix! Grave of the fireflies. Superman; Batman: Apocalypse. Tottoro. The animatrix series. Superman, Batman: Public enemies. Pokemon movies. Emporer's new groove series. Transformers 3.............nevermind.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I really did not like Wall-E. I couldn't even sit through it. I've never actually seen Toy Story 1 from start to finish (Shame on me). But Finding Nemo was great. I also like Monsters Inc. Up, Aladdin, Mulan, and pretty much any other classic Disney movie. I also liked Happy Feet and Legend of the Guardians. And Princess and the Frog :D
by Anonymous13 years ago
Spirit: Stallion of The Cimarron was a million times better than Wall-E.
by Anonymous13 years ago
That's true.
by Anonymous13 years ago
While Wall-E may not have been the best or the most exciting Pixar film, I thought it was super artistic. Not my favorite out of Pixar, but a beautiful film nonetheless.
