The best of the love songs? Sorry to quote Top Gear, but that's like saying "Woohoo, I've got syphilis! The BEST of the sexually transmitted diseases!" Love songs are awful and repetitive and they all say the same Goddamned thing. Love as an emotion doesn't even exist; it's an illusion that's been blasted out of proportion by society. At its base, it's merely a mixture of sex drive and primitive instinct.

I think it just depends what it means to certain people though, right? You can't tell someone that it's a breakup song. They understand it how they want to. Hey There Delilah? About a chick not wanting a guy who's completely in love with her. But it'd also make a great love song for people in long distance relationships.
