*cough*mythical*cough*

He punished guys too, go back and look.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That actually is stated in the bible. Adam's punishment was something about physical labor, and Eve's was pain in child birth.

We Muslims have the story of Adam and Eve in the Qur'an as well, but we disagree strongly that God punished the female decendants of Eve with period and child birth. That's just how we're created and we believe God would never degrade women like that. In the Qur'an, both Adam and Eve take the blame equally.

He can forgive everything... except that.

Eve* Adam* He* babies* and*

by Anonymous 13 years ago

He forgave, and is not mad. He promises that, he doesn't, however, promise no punishment.

God has punished you to due to your terrible grammar.

(Blah blah blah): *too

*starts shit to make ppl mad* God isnt real!! hahahahaha at all you dummies who believe in a falsity!!!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They did if you want to have a child and don't have the money/time to adopt.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

.....I don't get it, if God is forgiving and pure, why did he punish any of them to begin with? You Christian's make no sense.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

We aren't robots; God gave us freewill. With freewill we have the choice to choose what's right or what's wrong. When we choose to sin, there are consequences and we are separated from God because He is holy. But God can forgive you of those sins.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Doesn't seem like he forgave considering the pain of childbirth...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

...that's what Judaism says.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

thats what every Christian religion says too

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That's a cliché if I've ever seen one. Assuming that God exists, if He had total control over everything, He'd change the rules in order to spare us the pain of suffering.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

why would He do that? He created it perfectly, we messed it up. Now we deal with that, but only temporarily.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Okay. Just sayin'. If we messed up, and he created us, isn't it kind of his fault too, for creating faulty creatures?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Again, why wouldn't He prevent us from messing up by using His "infinite power?" It is still possible to have free will without temptations to sin being present. He could've created a sinless world, yet He failed to keep it that way.

Is it just me, or does the wording kinda make it sound like the poster thinks women have a baby every month?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well, that would be a funny joke, except that thats actually what happened. Life was perfect before original sin, then Eve messed it up and God punished both of them. Women's punishment was painful child-bearing. Really, nice try though...

You do know Eve didn't make Adam eat the fruit? Adam was with her while she was being deceived, and he started to be deceived also. He ate the fruit himself.
