+249 If you are from the south, most soda is coke. Sprite is coke. Mountain Dew? Also coke. But Dr. Pepper... that's Dr. Pepper. amirite?

Mountain dew is pepsi.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

but at least *I* call it coke...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I figured that from the post... But i figure being as its a one of a kind soda it should be in its own category. Brown equals coke clear is 7up and golden greenish yellow is dew

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Also because Dr. Pepper is it's own company.

I'm from the south but I call sprite sprite, mountain mountain dew, coke coke, dr. Pepper dr. Pepper, but pepsi is usually coke.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I may have totally misunderstood this post, but Dr Pepper is part of the Coke company.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

no it's not...

Maybe it's just in England that it is. I recently went to a Coca Cola factory, and we saw the Dr. Pepper bottles being made.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

that's really bizarre! in america, every bottle, can, etc of dr p says 'made by the dr pepper bottling company.'

I'm from the South (South Carolina) and I have never said every soda aside from Dr. Pepper is coke :/

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You cant get much more south than where I'm from and we call everything coke; Dr. Pepper is even called coke here.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

In Texas, thats how it is. Maybe you shouldn't have generalized 'the south' and just said 'Texas'.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i think you're right...
