+675 "It's complicated" has come to mean, "It's not actually that complicated, but I want my life to look dramatic." amirite?

No, it's a short version of "I'm single but I like to pretend we're still together while he's fucking other girls because it's easier for me to deal with that than facing reality and moving on with my life and getting over the relationship."

Or simply: "I want attention."

true. My friend's status is 'complicated' and that's why she set it as that. But c'mon... It was only 3 months. You two weren't THAT in love that you know he's 'the one'... This isn't the movies, you need more time than that to be so into someone that you have a hard time living without them.

It's even worse when they're the one who ended the relationship. Seriously, if you chose to break up with your boyfriend/girlfriend, it can't be that complicated. If you're really in love with them, don't break up with them. Simple as that.

Lol are you always that friend they call too? "I miss him so much!" well, what happened? "I dumped him..." o_o srsly?!?! Stfu! *click* but you don't really do that, you gotta be sweet. I hate friends like that. You caused the problem and you know how to fix it, where's the issue? Stop crying and leave me alone! Lol

Well, luckily most of my friends don't really get involved with guy drama. But I do know one girl who broke up with her boyfriend and expected sympathy from EVERYONE. I honestly didn't know what to tell her at that point, but I really wanted to say, "Well, if you didn't want the relationship to end, you shouldn't have ended it."

Logic does tend to confuse the smaller brained individuals of the world. For me it's that one friend though. All the time "mili, he's rude" "mili, I love him and I want him back" "mili, he's an ass and I never wanna talk to him again" "mili, I miss him so much and I want to be with him." I got the the point where it's like hey, you've been broken up longer than you were in the relationship, either 'nut up or shut up' cuz this shit's gettin old. But you already know he's dating other people and he pushes you away so don't expect much.
