+318 No matter how hard you try to be happy for them, you're still pretty upset when your favorite band becomes really popular, amirite?

*tear* first Paramore, and now Arcade Fire, what's next?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't get people that have this mentality. It just means you now have more people to share your love for them with and who can relate to a common interest.

I see where you're coming from, but it's so annoying when your favourite band gets really popular and gain hundreds of annoying fangirls who only like the way they look and only know one or two songs.

but you feel as if something that made you special or something only you knew is now known by everyone, thus taking away it? hahas idk just making a guess.

Not only that, now they can get more money and have a better life. What kind of asshole wouldn't want talented, hard working people to have a better life just so they can say they know someone not many other people know?

No matter how hard you try to be happy for them, you're still pretty upset when your best friend is finally happy, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No because then I can actually talk to other people about the them and this way the band is earning more money. Fans should want a band to be successful not get annoyed when they finally do.

If I was in a band that was fairly well-known, I'd be pissed if seemingly loyal fans suddenly disliked my music due to it's new popularity.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It ensures that they'll be able to continue making music, what's wrong with that? That said, if they start to suck after becoming popular, then yeah, I'll be pissed.
