+735 seriously, its not like ALL teenage girls starve themselves. we just get self-conscious about eating in FRONT of people, so we hide stashes and totally inhale 3 times our weight daily, amirite?

WHAA?!?! I eat in front of people and never feel the need to binge. Maybe we just have a better self esteem? And no were not fat. We are just really athletic.

for some reason, I only have trouble eating around my guy friends... I have no idea why, I just realized this. I still eat in front of them, but I eat less and feel more self conscious about it.

I read somewhere once in a study that these people did that girls naturally eat more in front of their female friends than in front of their male friends. I never realized it, but after being aware of this, I noticed it really is true for me. Weird.

Um please do some research. Starving yourself is NOT the only eating disorder there is. Some people actually do this, and it would be categorized as binge eating, compulsive eating, or EDNOS. The amount of ignorance surrounding eating disorders is almost as ghastly as the disorders themselves.

I ate WAY less in front of my ex boyfriend than my friends. And even with my friends, I eat less in front of them than my family.. I think that a good social life is a good diet for me.

That's really weird...I'm 5' 4" 115 lb. and eat like a man. not like a slob, but just a lot. Guys get turned on by a girl whose not afraid to eat in front of them.
