Pound is a measurement and a currency. That's why she said she was worth her weight in pounds.

I assume you weight 70-200 pounds. You are worth less then $320 if you are 200 pounds.

Pounds are a form of measurement of weight and of currency.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I know that... but what's so funny?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

exactly what i thought

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Because he's changing "worth your weight in money" to "worth your weight in pounds" which to the uneducated person would seem like "worth your weight in weight" when in reality in means the same thing as the first one.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

"worth your weight in money" does not make any sense to me wth is that mean.
