In Canada too! Well we use pounds for weight, unless we are at the doctors or something, and dollars for money. But the average Canadian knows pounds can = money

Because he's changing "worth your weight in money" to "worth your weight in pounds" which to the uneducated person would seem like "worth your weight in weight" when in reality in means the same thing as the first one.
