Guys can't take gender jokes either. After a gender joke that goes against them, they feel it's necessary to come back with a joke about girls. This post is true for both genders. Besides, for no apparent reason, jokes about girls are always degrading and jokes about guys are only funny. How does that work. It's just another double standard is all.

Besides, I don't think I've ever heard a guy gender joke. There are only girl ones. "Make me a sammich woman" gets old. Not only that, but it grates on girls. Sure, maybe it's funny the first few times a girl hears it, but you guys have no idea. It's just another objectification (all the "girl" jokes are) of the female gender and guys think that it's no big deal; girls don't. It's annoying, disrespectful, and degrading and you guys who think it's funny have no clue what it's like. Try thinking how you would feel if every time some girl didn't have a comeback and they said "Make me a sammich, it's all you're good for" (or something along those lines). It has an effect on you. It's not funny. At all.

No, they aren't. They're disrespectful and degrading. Just think, everyone whines about racist jokes all the time, but sexist jokes are ok? Secondly, my point is this: there are tons of girl jokes out there and practically none (if any) guy ones. Totaly sexist. And girls are just supposed to accept this "being poked fun at"? You call them "gender jokes" but they're really just "girls jokes". It's old, tiresome, and not funny. Women are descriminated against all the time and people act like it's ok; it's NOT. Just think how often girls are disrespected in "harmless jokes that are jsut make to poke fun". They're all about sex. Think of this double standard: if a girls sleeps around with a whole bunch of guys, she's labeled a slut, whore, etc. But if a guy sleeps around with a whole bunch of girls, he get's high fives, is called a "player" (or whatever other terms there are), and is congratulated, etc. It's all connected, and no one think anything of it.
