What about a movie? (oooooh I got you:P)

I was going to say book or movie or tv show, but I decided that, depending on the movie or show, you aren't actually "in" it. In a book you normally fill in the shoes of a character or the narrator, which means you are more likely to be more "in" a book. In a movie or tv show, you are sometimes just watching from the sidelines, not really taking a role.

true, but sometimes you feel like you're in the movie yourself

Yeah, sometimes, like 30% of the time (for me). I get into a book more like 99% of the time, because when you read you have to do that to get a story sometimes. I guess it also could work because you are seeing the world that you created from your own imagination based on the author's decriptions. A movie world can just feel like a photo on a wall, you can see it because it really "worked" it's way into your head and can't "see" it clearly.

More like a way to see words on a page that DESCRIBE "another world."
But movies on the other hand...
