There could be a Canadian version of Amirite where the posts end in "eh?" amirite?
by Anonymous15 years ago
xD Yessssss! It's so funny how they always defend themselves and say that they don't say "eh", but they do. All the time. lol.
by Anonymous15 years ago
I don't defend myself. I know I say "eh"
by Anonymous15 years ago
same :)
by Anonymous15 years ago
maybe you two do, but i've never heard any other canadian say 'eh' and i hate when people use that stereotype. so much.
by Anonymous15 years ago
Offtopic: I noticed the little picture of the quote/bubble changed.
by Anonymous15 years ago
Yeah I thought that too but I wasn't sure -- thanks for confirming.
by Anonymous15 years ago
En espanol: "¿verdad?
by Anonymous15 years ago
I was thinking the same thing. Or in french, se vrai?
by Anonymous15 years ago
eh? whats that stand for
by Anonymous15 years ago
XD It doesn't stand for anything. it's like saying "huh". And not ALL Canadians say it ALL the time. I suppose it depends on which part of Canada you're in.
by Anonymous15 years ago
I live in Canada and I have only heard 3 people ever say 'eh'.
by Anonymous15 years ago
We canadians never say eh. It's that stupid stereotype, eh?
by Anonymous15 years ago
lol you said eh! xD
by Anonymous15 years ago
Preeetty sure they did that on purpose.. :P
by Anonymous15 years ago
HELLS YEA THERE SHOULD BE!
by Anonymous15 years ago
I love being Canadian. For anyone that doesn't know what "eh" is, it can be used at the end of a statement to kinda turn it into a question.
"It's cold out, eh?"
"Yes, it is." lol
by Anonymous15 years ago
Haha yeah I mean it's not just Canadians, it's most of the English-speaking world. But apparently Canadians say it more? I dunno, I've never been to Canada, haha.
by Anonymous15 years ago
Well you shouldnt stereotype like that if you've never even been to Canada.
by Anonymous15 years ago
I think that would be an amazing website hahaha. I'd go there all the time. I KNOW how often I say eh, and I love it
by Anonymous15 years ago
well, you're basically the only canadian that says it then. i know i've never heard anyone say it.
by Anonymous15 years ago
what would really be the point? would the posts have to be canadian themed? would you have to be canadian to see it? or would we just have to post ideas on both sites? seems silly ... maybe there should just be an "eh" option on amirite instead :D
by Anonymous15 years ago
You and your practicality have ruined the joke. :(
Why? Why would you do that? :'(
by Anonymous15 years ago
sorry ;)
by Anonymous15 years ago
hey, im Canadian too, i love the idea.
ive also been wondering about the top of the amirite page, i always assumed this was an american site, but they spelled FAVOURITE our way....
by Anonymous15 years ago
:O they do! of course, they could always be from England or that area, they spell stuff like that too...
by Anonymous15 years ago
I just creeped Anthony's profile on this. Apparently he's English...
by Anonymous15 years ago
Hmm...I'm really curious now!
by Anonymous15 years ago
some of us might say eh but at least it sounds more intelligent than huh like all you americans do. you shouldn't piss off your neighbours .
by Anonymous15 years ago
i completely agree with you! i HATE when people stereotype like that!
by Anonymous15 years ago
Stereotypes sometimes aren't intended to be offensive and I can laugh them off, but the Canadian 'eh' one really pisses me off. >.< Born and raised in Canada, and I've only heard around four people say it. And what's so great about Americans, hm? In addition to saying 'huh', they also overuse 'like' and other nonsensical words.
by Anonymous15 years ago
i'm canadian and i'm not goign to deny that i say eh a lot and i hear other people say it all the time. I think a lot of people just dont notice it when other people say it. so for all you who said canadians never say eh, you should pay more attention to what other people say.
by Anonymous15 years ago
no way, you hoser
by Anonymous15 years ago
It seems like Canadians either say "eh" all the time or never say it at all. I wonder if it's just where people live... eh?
by Anonymous14 years ago
Improper usage.
"It's more about where people live, eh?"
