I definitely am loads more productive without falling into the trap of FB. Yes, I have other online addictions, but they are not as procrastinative (new word!) as facebook. If I realllllly needed one, I would have one by now.

I am a young woman, student, from Portugal, one of the few around here who dont have a facebook. People look at me in a weird way when i tell them but i dont feel any need to broadcast my life, its pointless. I dont have anything to hide but i dont feel like showing everything to everyone. Sometimes "friends" that people have in facebook are not even real friends, just old schollmates, college people, work coleagues, so its even more pointless.I have close friends (some of them have fb and some of them dont) mostly between 20´s and 30´s, and some of them, we've been friends for long, since we were kids. We contact via email or phone, and we have good time together, going around,hiking, having a drink,playing music. But i am not anti social, sometimes i meet new people, climbers, musicians, friends from other friends. If we have things in common maybe a friendship borns, if not, each one of us will follow its own way. Actually i wish i had more time for outdoors but i dont have because of college. And when im on vacations,if its rainy or too hot outhere,ill have to stay at home,ill be drawing,browsing sites of science,design,art but also funny stuff.Internet is a world!
