When a black person is mad, they're still black. If a white person is mad, they're red. If a black person is sick, they're still black. If a white person is sick, they're green. If a black person is choking, they're still black. If a white person is choking, they're blue. So why are black people 'colored'? amirite?
God this is so old. I'm sorry to burst you bubble but this was around when i was in like grade four.
but if you're in grade five now, that doesn't mean anything :D. But yes, the statement is very old
This is on a commercial in South Africa.
John? Yoko? Johnnn? Yoko? JOHNNN! YOKO!!!
I don't have a clue what any of this has to do with John or Yoko... but you made me laugh anyway XD
OH NO WAIT, I realised the other person was called Yoko... facepalm
XD
Thank you <3 BEATLE LOVE :D
yess :D
Seriously? I thought I had skills..
Most "black" people aren't even actually black. And if you want to know why black people are called "black" then ask some of those white people who gave them that title.
most "white" people aren't white either. I would like to know what genius decided to pick these colours
Yeah me too. A smart person would have picked something "logical" like dark brown and peach or something like that.
I think most of them are dead. Unless you go "deep into the heart of the south".
When a white person is sick, they don't turn green. They turn even whiter.
When you mix all the colors of the rainbow together what do you get? Black (: thus black people are colored.
Hahaha, I remember someone sent me this as one of those chain mails on MySPace a long time ago. Agreed for nostalgia. :P
I heard this somewhere, like in a humor site or something...I swear I did.....
Black people's lips turn blue when they're choking too. Also something about their fingertips.
My fingertips turn blue when I get really cold, and the very tip of my nose reddens.
Oh, and once I fell asleep with a rubberband around my finger and it turned an awfully funky colour.
Ironically, neither black nor white are considered colors. As I understand it, they're shades. Well, I guess it's more complicated than that. IT depends on if you're talking about light or pigments. And right now I have no idea what I'm talking about.
THANK YOU! I have been trying to remember this for a few days...to do exactly this...damn
This is pretty much the shortened version of the top rated WittyProfiles post (or at least it used to be, I haven't been on there in a while).
i turn red when im nervous or embarrased, and my lips turn blue/purple when im super cold, but i don't think people actually turn green.
This is extremely similar to a famous French poem.
Actually black or white people can not turn green but if they get bruises that can turn green .anyways i can turn red the (the tip of my nose or fingers hands ect...)~ or blue when im cold and i can turn purple if i like am choking .thank you very much
yay
The word "colored" isn't meant to suggest that white people don't have colored skin, just that non-white people have darker skin.
You'll enjoy life more if you don't take things so literally.
Have a nice day. <3
You'll enjoy life more if you understand that some things are jokes.
Have a nice day. <3
No shit? It was a joke.
'Black' people aren't even black. Their skin is brown. Honestly if I were African American then I would be offended to be called 'Black' because African Americans have brown skin.
you obviously ain't ever seen a blue gum then cause them suckers are BLACK. like so black that if they west dark clothes outside at night with no light you can't see them until they open their eyes or smile.
Go chat up MLK. aite bitch?
I heard a mexican version of this and im GUESSING 'black' ppl are called black cuz they're a very (most) dark color than almost everyone else cuz latinos are light brown and dark brown but most 'black' ppl are darker than latinos
