+467 You can't understand how some people actually don't like dogs in general, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No? Let me help: they're louder, smellier, needier, and considerably harder to train than cats.

OPINION,that's true,OPINION cats are extremely hard to train. You could not teach a cat to do 80% of what a dog does because(opinion) I don't (see that? My opinion. Don't get fussy about it) think cats have been fully domesticated yet

I'm pretty sure that cats are fully domesticated, they're just very independent. Domestication is not defined by 'listens to orders of humans'.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That's true. I don't actually know what the real definition of domesticated is. But you have to admit, its extremely hard to resistthe "cuteness" of an animal

I know right? Dogs are delicious.

I like dogs and all but I seriously don't like their barking. I mean, yeah, they're barking because someone is at the door and it's natural, but it's just so damn annoying and loud. Well, I also have a 9-year-old cat (maybe 10?) that has the loudest meow ever, but it doesn't even bother me that much. I like cats because they aren't in the way as much, they're smaller (than most dogs), and they are usually quieter. Also, I believe that cats are ADORABLE. Yes, dogs are cute, but when I see a kitty curled on a bed the first thing I say is "aww!" Of course, this is just an opinion :3

I love both doggies and kitties. But I prefer cats because they're quieter and they give me my space and they only sit on my lap when I call them over. I love dogs because they're easier to train and I love taking them on walks. But I kind of hate small dogs because they bark nonstop and jump all over you and nip at your heals. I only like medium sized to big dogs.

Well, some mailmen don't. And some people probably had some incident in their life when they or someone they were close to was attacked. But that's specific, and you said general. My dad used to not like dogs because he was really close to his dog Sandy and then it got ran over by a car.

I like dogs better only because I'm allergic to cats.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's not that I don't like dogs, I just happen to be cynophobic.

It's not so much I don' like dogs as dogs don't like me--or like me too much. You know. Eventually the dislike just becomes mutual. I have some neighbor's dogs I can tolerate for a day, but other than that? Not really.
