Why?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I think that they would just project it into our dreams.

Dammit Leonardo, get out of my dreams.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Hey, I'm not complaining about Leonardo diCaprio being in my dreams ;)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

omg I just don't feel like buying or renting it.

I don't get why it was so mindblowing. It wasn't a bad movie, but it wasn't NEARLY as good as it was made out to be.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

why do you say that?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I honestly just don't get it, not due to any part of the movie. It didn't seem that crazy. Why was it supposed to be mindblowing?

I feel like it was mindblowing because of all the components working together like they did. The script was brilliantly written. It told you just what you need to know, when you needed to know it, and each character definitely had their own style that stayed true throughout the movie. The acting was completely solid. Leonardo DiCaprio took the role well. The entire cast was wonderful and honestly I can't think of better actors for what they did. The story line was so complex, yet it fit. You saw mostly Cobb's life, but you saw little bits of everyone else's. They mixed a love story with that of a father and son, of friends, of the government, etc. They all came together better than most movies I've seen. The music, the director, the concept, etc. I dunno...I just think the whole thing together worked well and not to mention it was beautifully shot.

I agree that it was well done, but I assumed that the mindblowing bit would be the whole concept of inception. I also didn't really like the levels of dreams all that much. It just seemed like something to build on the complexity of the movie. I feel like a couple of the levels, especially two and three, could have been done away with. I'm not saying that it wasn't a good movie; it just wasn't a BRILLIANT movie. I wouldn't object to seeing Inception 2, but I wouldn't make sure that I saw it.

The OP just blew my mind more than the movie did

If they make a second Inception I will legitimately die. It is my favorite movie EVER. Besides of course, My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
