She's stated in numerous interviews that she's writing a political fairy tale of some sort, and she might also be doing a 'Potter encyclopaedia' with people, places, objects and such.

You can't really blame her for taking her time, I mean the last book she wrote was **Harry Potter**, the only people who read her new book will be Harry Potter fans, and their expectations are going to be astoundingly high.
