That they don't eat eggs, cheese, dairy, etc, just because they come from animals. (Is that correct?) Which I don't see the logic in, but it's not like they're hurting anyone, so they can do whatever they want. :)

Yeah thats right, its just no animal by product. They do it because of how the animals are treated still, like with dairy cows, to get the milk they have to keep the cow pregnant. So the cow is pregnant, has its baby shipped to a veal farm, produces milk for a few weeks and the is impregnated again all while living in shitty conditions. By not buying the milk, it helps stop that because the demand for it is lower. It makes sense, but its a hard transisition to make.

Humans are intended to be omnivores, and vegetarians, unless they are vegans, still ARE omnivores because they eat animal biproducts like milk and eggs. That doesn't mean someone can't CHOOSE to be vegetarian.
