It would be cool if you could comment anonymously on Facebook like you can on here, amirite?
by Anonymous11 years ago
That's kind of like what Formspring is. I don't like it, really, because there are so many people who are like "They won't know who I am? Sweet." and say all these things that they would never have the guts to say to your face. I think it would be the same way with FB. And if someone's going to insult me, I want them to man up and not hide behind an anonymous comment.

yeah, but it's not the same. and i want to hear what people think of me whether it's anonymous or not. being anonymous just says the OP is a dick, but in a way it adds more merit to their opinion because they're not just saying what i want to hear.

Okay then!
by Anonymous14 years ago
i see what you're saying though, nobody would have the guts to say half of what they say on formspring to my face
by Anonymous14 years ago
Yeah, I know. Like I said, it really pisses me off, not so much that the person is saying what they're saying. More of that they won't fess up to it. If someone has a problem with me, I want to know about it, and who it is so that maybe I can try to fix it, you know?
by Anonymous14 years ago
for me it also depends on the comment. if someone says "you're annoying" i don't give a shit, because i know i won't please everyone. but if someone says "you were such a bitch to *whoever*" i want to know who said it and who has the right to think they can say shit like that
by Anonymous14 years ago
Yeah, I agree. If someone thinks I'm annoying, or a know it all, or whatever, I don't care. If someone really has a problem with me, it's different though.

so much trolling, so little time.
by Anonymous14 years ago
This post is fucking retarded but I want to fuck the bitch who made it
by Anonymous14 years ago
being rebel by posting anonymous.
by Anonymous14 years ago
That will just incite drama and trolling.
by Anonymous14 years ago
It'd be kinda cool, but people would abuse it and bullying would get a lot easier.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Agreed. Two separate cases of cyberbullying at my expense took place during my freshman year of high school; one of them was through someone else's account and the other was through a fake account. I learned a lot about how I was generally perceived at that school through these episodes.
by Anonymous11 years ago
how did you think you were perceived?
and after those events
how did you then think you were perceived?
by Anonymous11 years ago
One of the implications (at least from the incident in which an actual account was used) seemed to be that I would make a pathetic boyfriend, and the operation ran under the assumption that I was gullible. In short, what seemed to be at least two people, using a girl's Facebook account, sent private messages containing poorly written come-ons, and the chat ended with the people using the account telling me to find her in the school.
