+563 some people just can't seem to grasp the fact you can like artists from differant genres, such as lil wayne and the clash, flo rida and the cramps, ke$ha and the strokes, amirite?

I know! My iPod is filled with loads of different genres, I always feel like I should delete the songs from genres that people label as "bad" but then I remember that no one important actually cares what music you listen to.

Bad combinations, but yes.

Yeahhhhhh. 'Cause like, I'm black, and so my friends always say I only listen to "white people music." So, the other day I was riding to school with a couple of them and a Nicki Minaj song comes on. I start singing it word for word and they are flabbergasted. D;

that's exactly how my music choice is too, and everytime i listen to something that typically isn't "black people music" i get like weird looks while i'm driving. but i really shouldn't give a shit about what people think.

I listen to every genre, and people don't give a shit. It's probably the Ke$ha part that those people can't grasp.

Apart from Lil Wayne, I've never heard of of any of the artists you listed. But yeah, I listen to a lot of music. Death metal and symphonic metal mostly, but I like rock, occasionally country if it's not too religion-heavy, and jazz. Also, I don't know what category Sarah Brightman and Enya fit into, but they're great as well.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well Enya is pretty good, but the clash is a British band from the 60's who are pretty darn famous and have some amazing music and the strokes are an indie band

Sarah Brightman is opera just so you know. She's on my iPod too. :)

I agree with this statement, but no one should listen to Kesha.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I wouldn't say I was a fan... but I do have her on my Ipod. Guilty.

Oh god yes. I was just driving today with a friend and my ipod shuffled from St. Vincent to Tech 9, she was surprised needless to say.
