Obv it cant. UV rays tan you, not heat.

well it kindaa can, it can give you burns, if you like stand in it, which are basicly like a realy bad sun burn, but sun burn goes away and you get sun tan. and i know because my brother got burnt at a camp and now he just has really tanned where he was burnt

Are you sure he didn't get burnt by the sun? While campers do spend time by a campfire, they usually spend more time in the sun.
