Time travel is going to have been confusing. amirite?
by Anonymous14 years ago
too bad it's impossible
by Anonymous14 years ago
why?
by Anonymous14 years ago
The amount of energy to build up speed faster than light is more tremendous than all the energy used since the invention of electricity. And I made that up just now.

LOL

time is an idea created by humans to keep track of events, not a physical thing or dimension we can travel through.

I'm from the future and I can let you know that this is a severe misconception. Also, watch out for the mailman tomorrow. :/

and Arnold Scharzenegger in a black leather jacket riding a motorcycle and wielding a shotgun?
by Anonymous14 years ago
fuck i spelled Arnold's last name wrong. Oh well
by Anonymous14 years ago
Yes, and that. Always watch out for that.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Trust me, it was.

Time is actually a physical dimention. It is what we think of as the fourth dimention. And just like something can't be negative feet high, negative feet wide or negative feet deep, you can't go back in time. But you can go forward. In fact, we all travel forward in time by small amounts everyday based on how fast we are moving and by how much mass we are close to. However, it would take an enormous amount of energy to ttravel a significant amount forward by reaching near the speed of light. I'd bet that cryogenics will become a viable way to get to the future before time travel.

Dimension, not dimention.
by Anonymous14 years ago
that's kind of annoying for you to point out...
by Anonymous14 years ago
actually to make it clear, there are people who have travelled in time. Pilots after their career might have travelled about 0.01 to 0.02 seconds in the future.. I know this seems stupid but with this people can realise the amount of energy that would be required for a time travel process.

Ffs, deliver me from paradox. Time travel talk makes my brain ache.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Wait, is the switch of tenses supposed to be the joke, or is it just bad english?
