I admit I was guilty of that when I was younger; my logic being that when people think you're not too bright, they don't expect much from you. You know how parents and teachers can be when they know you're gifted... "You're not using your POTENTIAL, blah blah SO SMART, blah blah APPLY YOURSELF..." At any rate, I was lazy and disinterested in school from about 7th to 9th grade, so I played dumb for awhile.
