Shooting Jersey Shore in Miami does not make it "Jersey" Shore. amirite?

According to IMDB, the filming location is Seaside Heights, New Jersey.
Don't know if that's accurate, but I'm willing to believe IMDB.

The first season was. The second season was filmed in Miami because it was too cold to shoot in Jersey.
