No, I have played a nine hour game before though

Once at the very end of the game I was down to one army in one country after my opponent wiped out everything else. The only country of his bordering mine had 2 armies , and after his turn was over , I would be able to turn in my cards for 75 armies. Unfortunately , his 2-army country took over my 1-army country , and thus , the game ended.

The best place to start is in North America because it's worth the second most points, but there are only three territories to enter from so it's easy to defend.
