Our school is pretty new so its temperature is very well controlled and it has a ton of windows but none of them open, which makes no sense at all.

No just no. I think it would be better if you found some friends and went out more instead. Summer is amazing; even just sitting at home doing nothing is better than school.

My school doesn't even get two months of summer holidays. If they shortened it, i'd probably want to commit suicide.

This is why I take summer classes at my university. Spring semester ends in APRIL and we're off until almost the end of August. I have to take at least a class or two over the summer to keep me from dying of boredom.

It's called year round school. You end in late May and go back early July. Then you get super long every thing else breaks.

in most of europe they dont have a summer break. In germany for example, they have 6 or 8 weeks of school (dont remember which) then 2 weeks vacation, then 6 or 8 more weeks of school. im super jelly.

Where I live we have 3/4(depending on your school) terms (semesters) in the year. The main holiday is over Dec/Jan period which is about 6-8 weeks. Each term is 4-6 weeks with 2 week holidays in between. June/July is the second biggest holiday which is 3 weeks.

Where I live we only get 6 week summer holidays...the others are all 2 weeks and each term is 10 weeks...oh and we're still at school for like half of Summer and it's usually around 30-40 degrees Celsius (no idea what in Fahrenheit) and my school doesn't have air con...so no you're wrong. Last summer holidays I didn't even have enough time to finish my homework...
