The things that come to those that wait may be the things left by those who got there first. amirite?
by Anonymous14 years ago
Don't homepage it, guys!
Oh & nice POTD, OP.
by Anonymous14 years ago
I dont mean to be a dick, but it would be "who" not "that" when you said "come to those that wait"
by Anonymous14 years ago
But they're not talking about a person, they're talking about a noun.
by Anonymous14 years ago
no, theyre talking about a person. The person is the one who comes second
by Anonymous14 years ago
But they're talking about a thing that a person gets. The first subject of the sentence is a thing, the second a person. Just say the sentence with "who" out loud.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Nevermind, I get what my mistake was. Sorry.
by Anonymous14 years ago
The original saying is "good things come to those who wait", which refers to people who wait.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Besides who wants to come to something that waits if i'm going to come to something it damn well better not be waiting
by Anonymous14 years ago
I had to read this like twice >.<

This was so inspirational that I went to walmart and bought an xbox and black ops that I'm going to train for the army with it then I'm gonna go save some koalas in the war.

Is this random? what is this relevant to D:
by Anonymous14 years ago
The "good things come to those who wait" rumor was started by the early bird.
by Anonymous14 years ago
The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Heartwarming sarcasm.
by Anonymous14 years ago
I used to have a boss that said "Good things come to those who wait, but only what's left by those who hustle."
Yes, it was a sales job =P
