I brought this up to Anthony awhile ago. He said no because "it would allow people to cheat the system".

I don't see why knowing how many homepage votes you have would allow you to obtain even more homepage votes. Could you elaborate?

@420301 (9876098): Because then people could figure out how many votes it takes to get to the homepage and then could create multiple accounts to bump their own posts to the HP
