The ranking system they use gives too much preference to select conferences and often doesn't given some teams the recognition they deserve. Look at Houston. They're one of 3 undefeated teams this far into the season, and they're still ranked #10 because C-USA doesn't get the treatment conferences like the SEC or Big 10 get.

There's a reason for that. Houstons schedule isnt exactly as difficult as lsu's or Oklahoma state

Which is true, but it still doesn't account for some of the other teams ranked above them. Boise St. just lost to an unranked team and is still ranked higher than Houston. And Boise doesn't have the "difficult schedule" excuse.
