There has been one fashion trend you refuse to give into, amirite?
by Anonymous14 years ago
UGGS and shorts?
by Anonymous14 years ago
same here. Uggs just make you look ridiculous, and paired with shorts?
by Anonymous14 years ago
Uggs alone are horrible but paired with shorts...who thinks thats a good idea?
by Anonymous14 years ago
What's worse: bumpits
by Anonymous14 years ago
Yeah, I never really got that, when I wrote this I was thinking more like jeggings hahaha there's a bunch of things I'll never give into fashion wise
by Anonymous14 years ago
http://www.amirite.net/273519
I know how you feel.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Crocs
by Anonymous14 years ago
I wouldn't really say that's a fashion trend...
by Anonymous14 years ago
Silly Bandz...
by Anonymous14 years ago
I was just gonna post that. They're pretty ridiculous.
by Anonymous14 years ago
OMG silly bandz are awesome!!!
by Anonymous14 years ago
I noted that you said
"OMG" along with it...
by Anonymous14 years ago
I was going to say this too. It just hit my school, but I can't see myself every being interested.
by Anonymous14 years ago
i had the same attitude, but now i love silly bands, lol :)
by Anonymous14 years ago
Stupid Jeggings
by Anonymous14 years ago
http://www.amirite.net/269418
yes.
by Anonymous14 years ago
LEGGINGS ARE NOT PANTS
by Anonymous14 years ago
Rompers. I honestly don't think they flatter anyone, no matter how amazing a body they have. And they just make me think of like toddler clothes.
by Anonymous14 years ago
noo way, those are so cute
by Anonymous14 years ago
Thought you might appreciate this definition from dictionary.com:
1. One that romps.
2. rompers A loosely fitted, one-piece garment having short bloomers that is worn especially by small children for play.
rompers [ˈrɒmpəz]
pl n
1. (Clothing & Fashion) a one-piece baby garment consisting of trousers and a bib with straps
2. (Clothing & Fashion) NZ a type of costume worn by schoolgirls for games and gymnastics
made me laugh :]
by Anonymous14 years ago
LOL!
wow x'D
by Anonymous14 years ago
Me too! It's just that I can't justify buying one when in a few months or a few years the might not be considered a legitimate item of clothing.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I never give in to fashion trends... I just wear what's comfortable :)
by Anonymous14 years ago
yes, the most ridiculous thing on earth: jeggings!
by Anonymous14 years ago
(jaydeegee :)): whatarejeggings? :'D
by Anonymous14 years ago
Jeans Leggings *facepalm*
by Anonymous14 years ago
Oh. We call them treggings here. :3
by Anonymous14 years ago
The same concept tho.. and they STILL look ridiculous no matter what we call them. :P
by Anonymous14 years ago
I agree.
by Anonymous14 years ago
tree leggings?
by Anonymous14 years ago
trouser leggings.
by Anonymous14 years ago
aHA *lightbulb moment*
by Anonymous14 years ago
The geek glasses, colored skinny jeans, hi fades, nikes, hot topic shirts.
by Anonymous14 years ago
(DangerousBabee):Nikes? They have awesome athletic shoes!
by Anonymous14 years ago
haha they have awesome shoes period. i dont wear anything but nikes. but they just go along with the fad.
by Anonymous14 years ago
I really hate when people get glasses just because they want to look/feel smart/cool. As a wearer of glasses because I'm blind, I feel it's really annoying.
by Anonymous14 years ago
I feel ya! I just got glasses because I can't see the board, or TV, when I'm 10ft away and my grades suffered.
Now, everyone is getting nerd glasses because they see a bunch of famous people wearing them [like Chris Drew, who people suddenly became obsessed with]
Doesn't it make you want to say, "Would you like me to give you a reason to wear glasses?"
by Anonymous14 years ago
rompers. ughh
by Anonymous14 years ago
livestrong bracelets.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Harem pants or whatever they're called. they look absolutely ridiculous
by Anonymous14 years ago
They're called Uggs because they're uggly.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Crocs
by Anonymous14 years ago
uggs and leggings.
by Anonymous14 years ago
moccasins. ick.
by Anonymous14 years ago
especially without socks on...ick
by Anonymous14 years ago
with OR without socks on. ICK.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Very true!
by Anonymous14 years ago
uggs and skinny jeans, uggs and shorts, uggs and leggings... uggs in general.
by Anonymous14 years ago
jeggings look good on SOME people. there's definitely a weight limit though.
uggs are just ridiculous and fugly.
i hate when people wear nerd glasses for "funsies"
plaid shirts are for lumberjacks.
and rompers are for 3 year olds.
and what are these stupid "silly bandz" i keep hearing so much about? they're like those slap bracelets from the 90's, except lamer.
by Anonymous14 years ago
In order to wear Uggs AND Jeggings: HAVE to have model thin legs. Otherwise you'd look super fat. Might as well write Godzilla on your forehead.
by Anonymous14 years ago
truth.
by Anonymous14 years ago
I like those fuzzy boots, but they're not worth $100
I got some Emu boots for $40 a pair, and I got a pair of Oneill boots for $60 that got boatloads more compliments than Uggs.
I got Silly Bandz to annoy my sister, because she absolutely despises them.
And I got jeggings because I thought they were normal jeans :/ Luckily, I only paid $10.
Trends are getting MUCH more ridiculous.
by Anonymous14 years ago
I got leggings thinking they were jeans too. The only reason I wear them is because it's ridiculously hot outside. -_-
by Anonymous14 years ago
When people use leggings as pants...
by Anonymous14 years ago
jeggings, acid washed jeans and shredded jeans, theyre hideous
by Anonymous14 years ago
I have never understood buying jeans that look worn. I prefer putting my own holes in my jeans through wear, and not buying ones that look like someone tried to slash through your pants and failed.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Jeggings, Uggs, Moccasins *barf* and crocs.
What happened to tee-shirt, Blue Jeans and Sneakers?
by Anonymous14 years ago
Rompers. >_____x
by Anonymous14 years ago
Stop bashing on jeggings and Uggs!!!!!!!!!!!!!
by Anonymous14 years ago
stop conforming to scociety's ridiculous "fashion" trends
by Anonymous14 years ago
i like my moccasins :(
by Anonymous14 years ago
With the right outfit, they're not awful.
by Anonymous14 years ago
skirts and Uggs. I like skirts and I like Uggs. But not together
by Anonymous14 years ago
Skinny jeans.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Ganguro.
by Anonymous14 years ago
If it's you and makes you happy and says something about your personality that you like then why not?
ex;
1.jeans, converse, tshirt-respectable, simple, no extra shit'
2.mini skirt -hooker
3. 4+ silly bandz-little kid.
4.sagging pants-dumbass poser or so poor they can't afford a belt
by Anonymous14 years ago
Uggs.. Are the most ugliest things I have ever laid eyes on. They look horrible on everyone.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Wearing a bun... on the very top of your head. I think it just makes you look goofy
by Anonymous14 years ago
It makes people look like they're about to go swimming.
by Anonymous14 years ago
[Note: Male] I'm too poor for fashion trends. xD I get Wal-Mart clothes mostly. I *always* wear jeans, and usually a graphic t-shirt. There are some things I'd like to wear to make myself look a bit classier, but there are indeed some things that are ridiculous. I never understood why people wear those pants with chains all over. They don't look like they'd be comfortable.
by Anonymous14 years ago
jeggings are okay, but only if you havea perfect body and you dont wear them as pants. uugs are comfortable, but not very attracive. i think theyre more for lounging at home.silly bands are stupid. and ive never owned Vans. ever.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Rompers. I think they're weird.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Guys in skinny jeans "shudders"
by Anonymous14 years ago
Gladiator shoes .
by Anonymous14 years ago
Silly bandz, Crocs, hollister, and abercrombie and fitch
by Anonymous14 years ago
Crocs = hideousness
by Anonymous14 years ago
crocs
by Anonymous14 years ago
Uggs
by Anonymous14 years ago
Harem pants. When is a hanging crotch EVER attractive? Crocs, too.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Seems like Uggs and Jeggings are the winners here.
by Anonymous14 years ago
I heart boobie bracelets are stupid
by Anonymous14 years ago
Some of that money goes to cancer research, you jerk.
by Anonymous14 years ago
(Katffro):well yeah I know that but that doesn't mean you have to wear them everyday at school like it's the new trend and giggle at the word "boobies"
by Anonymous14 years ago
I understand people wearing them, maybe even explaining what they mean, but saying, "Oh yeah! I'm trendy! LOL boobies" is another. I see where you're coming from.
by Anonymous14 years ago
To tell you the truth I've never gotten into parachute pants, but I'd like to.
by Anonymous14 years ago
yeeeeup. it's called uggs and lululemon pants.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Wtf... I agree, I really don't like Uggs with shorts either, but what if someone wears them because it is comfortable? Just as a T-shirt and jeans. You can't judge everyone and besides saying you don't "conform" to society, why don't you just not worry about and wear whatever you want, regardless if it is "in" or not.
God, ain't that hard. No need to whine about it.
by Anonymous14 years ago
I absolutely hate Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister, Aeropostale, Justice, and all the other stores like it. I <3 Forever 21 and Charlotte Russe though! :D But I WILL NOT give in to that stupid short-shorts trend >:|
by Anonymous14 years ago
(Emma Li): Aero isn't bad. They always have sales and you can get stuff pretty cheap.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Exactly! Thank you! and yeah, Emma Li, I agree with Forever 21 and Charlotte Russe :)
by Anonymous14 years ago
I'm about to get jeans for $13.50 from Aero. That's an AMAZING price for jeans, especially because theirs are pretty high quality.
by Anonymous14 years ago
I basically just wear jeans/skinny jeans or long-ish shorts and a graphic tee :P :D
by Anonymous14 years ago
those weird egyption type shoes high school girls wear, weird.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Gladiators? I like them :(
by Anonymous14 years ago
Skinny jeans, hate em'.
by Anonymous14 years ago
I don't mind jeggings that much, they look like skinny jeans but more tighter.
by Anonymous14 years ago
When people take the black lenses out of the 3D glasses. You're dumb.
Also skinny jeans. Might as well just paint your skin.
Short shorts. I greatly prefer not to see your crotch and/or bare ass.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Yes, yes, and yes.
I wear regular glasses and find it really annoying when people try to fake cool by wearing 3D ones without the lenses. I also really hate when people have such short shorts that you can see the pocket hanging on their skin, and when it barely covers their parts.
by Anonymous14 years ago
I HATE when girls wear shorts so short that their shirt covers up their shorts! I see this all the time! It's like they're walking around in their underwear! I will never wear shorts shorter then my knee.
by Anonymous14 years ago
CROCS! and even more hideous: CROCS WITH SOCKS!
by Anonymous14 years ago
*cringe*
by Anonymous14 years ago
The only reasons I wear skinny jeans are: 1. My dogs can't eat up the bottom. 2. The ones I get are comfortable. 3. I hate extra stuff hanging off of me (including some long sleeve shirts, hair, and baggy pant legs).
Or maybe I'm just weird like that. :p
by Anonymous14 years ago
Skinny jeans ARE okay.. plus they look way better than normal boot cut jeans.. and they are so comfy! O.O
by Anonymous14 years ago
yeah, i like skinny jeans because they fit so nicely around my ankles. i absolutely hate flares because there's so much extra room at the bottom.
by Anonymous14 years ago
People are complaining about short shorts. I don't consider some of my shorts *that* short, but not all of them are bermudas.
Here, we get extremely hot days and those shorts [they cover my butt, crotch, and pockets] come in handy. Plus, they were buy one/get one.
by Anonymous14 years ago
There's a post exactly like this one...almost word for word.
http://www.amirite.net/160116
by Anonymous14 years ago
i've already taken this up with the other OP
by Anonymous14 years ago
jeggings, uggs, hollister, shorts so you can see the pockets.
i think people shouldn't follow trends and have there own style.(:
by Anonymous14 years ago
But if everyone has their own style, then there would be a unique trend. (:
by Anonymous14 years ago
damn your right ! lol . i still wish there was originality though. lol. well i guess a unique trend is better than a stupid one? ahahaha .
by Anonymous14 years ago
Shorts so short you can see the pockets
Harem pants
What's so wrong with jeggings? They're basically tighter skinny jeans.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Damn jeggings. First there's skinny jeans. Then there's super skinny jeans. Now jeggings.
No thanks, I'd rather keep the circulation flowing through my legs.
by Anonymous14 years ago
hahaha!
by Anonymous14 years ago
High Top Shoes. If you aren't playing basketball don't fucking wear them.
by Anonymous14 years ago
nobody actually wears them to play basketball in anymore. thats' what athletic shoes are for...
by Anonymous14 years ago
You should see my school basketball team. They don't even know what athletic shoes are... Come to think of it, none of the school teams seem to.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Skinny jeans. They bug me sooo much XP
by Anonymous14 years ago
Over 100 comments, seriously?
by Anonymous14 years ago
Pajama pants for everday wear. I always hated that it made it look like you just rolled out of bed.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Fashion is bullcrap. That crap doesn't matter at all.
by Anonymous14 years ago
those skirts with elastic around the waist. it's not like they're super short but when girls pull them way up they barely cover their butt. I like them but I'm tired of seeing 12 year olds hiking them way up
