My marching French horn is named Pepper because I spilled a Dr. Pepper on it during a football game. It smelled like Dr. Pepper for a while. My trumpet (I was in jazz band) was named Maple because it smelled like syrup. My concert French horn is named Vilnius. I don't remember why.

Nobody here plays trombone D: My trombone is named Marianne. After the mother in my favorite tv show as a kid, the Wild Thornberries. She's married to my friends trombone, whose name is Lenguini (from her favorite movie, Ratatouille), and they have my girlfriends clarinet as an adopted child whose name is clarisse. Also, I just want to add that I now realized how creepy it is when I go up to people I don't know and say: "hi! My names Jordan and my trombones name is Marianne. What's yours and your trombone?" Their answer: "uhm... Freak.
