+719 You haven't lived until you've been so far away from the city that you can actually see the night sky with all of the beautiful stars. amirite?

I guess I've lived then.. wherever you go in my whole town, you can see the whole night sky.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You could really use a wish right now...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Trust me, I didn't need airplanes. There was a meteor shower a couple weeks ago.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I watched that meteor shower too!

It's true; I went up north once camping and there was no light pollution and the sky was the prettiest thing I'd ever seen. I can't wait to go up north again. <3 :)

I can see the stars in my city.

I live in Colorado on the outskirts of my town and every night I go outside and stare at the stars :) It's incredible.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's called Canada.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

yes, it is.

I live out in the country and every night my 9-year-old stepsister and I go outside and lay in the backyard and just look at the stars. It really is beautiful and it never gets old. It's a really humbling experience at the same time, because it makes you realize just how small you are and that for even a small amount of time, nothing really matters. It's really amazing. :)

I've always wanted to go to that perfect scenic place... Atop a large hill that overlooks the city. We can picnic there the whole day, underneath the shade of a tree, and then when nightfalls everyone lays on the side of the hill and watches the stars and city lights. <3 Too bad it hasn't come true yet. The closest is near my town actually, there are winding roads that go up and down and if you look down the side you see a valley of houses and it's simply amazing :D

yea anywhere in montana you can see all the stars every night..

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Probably the reason Montana is "Big Sky Country."

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It really is beautiful... I can't wait to go camping again and see that... there really are no words to describe it.

i live in the country in California, and the night sky is wonderful year round except for bad weather and a bright moon now and then, and, yes, that meteor shower was really awesome to watch!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Like where i live? lol

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Like, everywhere in my whole country you can see the stars at night wherever you go? I didn't know you couldn't in some places... Must be pretty polluted.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I live in Las Vegas. I see like maybe 3 stars on a good night.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Wow that sucks.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

LIGHT pollution, not air pollution, just to be clear

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah, but it makes seeing the stars more special.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

In Maine, even in our largest city you can see all the stars

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No, you really can't. People say that all the time, but until you've been up north in a town with only like, 500 people and look straight up, you haven't seen all of the stars.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No one can really see ALL the stars. There's like, a gazillion of them.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I grew up in the county, is that north enough for you?
