because thanksgiving is not a major moneymaker, unless you're a supermarket. who buys thanksgiving gifts? but tons of people buy pounds and pounds of candy, and tons of people buy tons of christmas gifts. it's all about money.

The party stores in Canada have Thanksgiving and Halloween stuff right now, it's just kind of fall themed decorations, since Thanksgiving comes just before Halloween for us.

Meh, where I am we don't really have that much Halloween decorations it just sort of goes straight into Christmas.
