Paranormal Activity: "Based on true events!" ...(few frames later) "Play alternate ending!"

The strangers seemed really freaky because they skipped "based" and went straight for "true story" but if you look it up you'll see the "true story" is very loosely based on three different murders, one involving masks, one involving a chase through the woods, and one involving three teenagers murdering people in their country house. Not that scary when you dissect it.

Haunting in Conneticut. Even freakier, the day that I watched it had the same date as when the first day of the movie was set.
