Trying to grow your hair out is a really annoying process. You don't want to get it trimmed because you want it to be longer faster, but you want to get it trimmed to get rid of the dead ends, amirite?

You mean split ends. All visible hair is dead, that's why it doesn't hurt to cut it.

You should use a lot of conditioner, leave it on the bottom third of your hair, then you won't need to get it trimmed. I don't cut/trim mine for 2 years. I have NO split ends. and lovely long hair.
