My dad is a die-hard Republican and he claims that Fox News is the least biased news channel out there. It made me giggle when I heard him say that.

Oh yes they do. Quite frequently, in fact. Like when they showed a close up of a man with a gun at a tea party. They then (of course) accused the tea party of racism. Had they zoomed out, like other news stations did, they would've seen the man with a gun was black. But they intentionally hid that.

Most of the media is biased toward the left of the political spectrum, so I don't see why people bash Fox so much when it is much more moderate, and yes balanced, in comparison and neglect to address the bias and narrowmindedness of those networks. Media research studies have shown that Fox actually gives more airtime to Democrats than CNN, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, etc give to Republican views. But it's easy to ignore all that when you don't think on your own and instead form your thoughts on what opinion MSNBC churns out, then backsteps the following week. That and I work in media. So I would know.

People are accusing CNN and NBC of having a liberal bias as overt as Fox News, but no liberal movements came out of Fox. CNN's Eric Erickson formed the 53% movement. NBC's Rick Santelli formed the Tea Party movement.
