If you rebel against something, then you're showing your rebellion with an action. Like fighting for rights in your country.

I don't really understand this. The way you act and dress are manifestations of your mind, your free will. Therefore, I don't really see a clear difference between the two options.

Yeah, everyday when I sit in the office of my 9 to 5 job wearing a tie, I think how much I'd like to say "Fuck You Arsehole" to my boss, give him the finger, and walk the hell outta there. But then I just do some more paperwork and get my boss some more coffee.
