Because most stupid people are stupid because they said "No thank you" to education. Everyone was born stupid, it's just up to them to learn how not to be stupid.

... Not born stupid? You're born knowing nothing, of course you're born stupid. You were, I was, we all were. Unless you come out of the womb knowing more than breathing, you're born stupid. Even still, you don't typically come out breathing and need your ass smacked to learn that.

No because when you say something is stupid, you are reffering to something being dumb. But when you refer to something as gay, you aren't calling it happy because in fact that's what gay means.
