This is probably because their own parents didn't like it when THEY were young and watched a lot of T.V, yet didn't mind it when they listened to the radio. Eventually you go back far enough that parents were yelling at their kids to "put that abacus down!", amirite?

i say stop seeing tv and too much computer go out and have fun ....people are to adicted to the stupuid screens .... god gave us life and exitement he doesnt want us to spend it on stuff that are piontless.
