+341 Even though it's annoying when a teacher spells something wrong when writing on the board, it's even more annoying when someone raises their hand to correct them. You know what they mean, just let it go, amirite?

Or like when it says " teh" on a worksheet or test instead of "the" and someone has to ask if it's supposed to be "the"

This applies to anyone but english teachers.

Sorry, OCD is hard to control. You probably have no idea how much it bugs me.

Doesn't matter what subject they teach - all teachers have been to college and should probably be able to out-spell their students.

Oh so teachers can make mistakes and we are annoying when we correct them, but us, of a younger age in a website CANT make a mistake or someone goes all grammar-nazi on us.

I don't think I've ever been a grammar nazi on this site... but I think that most people in a classroom situation are correcting the teacher just to point out that everyone makes mistakes and that teachers aren't perfect. Don't let the nazis bring you down though =)
