WHY does putting on a pad have to make so much noise and be obvious, amirite?

Because someone thought the period itself wasn't horrible enough.

even if you're using tampons, you should probably wear some sort of pad just in case. It's never predictable after all Dx

It may break your hymen, which is sometimes incorrectly thought of as the 'virginity', but not always. And losing your virginity is, as the comment above me said, having sexual intercourse with another person, not putting something inside the vaginal cavity.

It sucks when you're with a friend, because the wrapper's all like "HGHSFJASFW" and your friend asks "Are you on your period?" and you're like "NO SHIT!"

I've stopped caring about it, but it is like "why put them in such noisy wrappers?" You might aswell put them in an inflated balloon that you have to pop to get the pad out.

I honestly don't see why you care. Other girls can obviously not pay you out about having a period, and guys don't really care. It's not that big of a deal.
