+241 It's just weird when people refer to themselves as "mommy" or "daddy" when talking to their dog/cat, like "Come to mommy, Spot!" amirite?

well I think it depends on the person, I know people that make it totally fine but I think if I did it it would be weird

I especially think it's weird when my mom is talking to our dog and she says stuff like, "Go to your sister [dog's name]!" He's a dog, he's definitely not my brother
