It sucks, but that's because there's no such thing as pure black. The blackest of black has been created by humans, but it's still not completely black. The blackest you'll ever see is the pure darkness when you go deep into the ocean, or gaze up at the stars, or go into a light-excused cave... Other than that, we're going to have to keep buying these strange shades of black.

Especially when you buy some stuff to make an outfit or something, or just a few items that all start out the same black, but then when you wash them a couple times one turns greenish and the other brownish or whatever. I wonder why there isn't a natural black fiber somewhere in nature that we could use...
