by Anonymous 13 years ago

Holy shit, how did I never notice that?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Lmao, I honestly always though 'donuts' was the right way to spell it until a few years ago

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ohh shit is that really how you spell it??

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I never realized that until now. I mean I knew how it's correctly spelt, but never really noticed that error.

WOW! dunkin donuts sure did, it also screwed up all my elementary and middle school teachers because thats how i spelled donuts and they never did anything about it

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Actually they can be spelled both ways. Well, at least that's what everyone says.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They probably say that to justify when they spell it "donut" haha

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Probably, lol.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No, it actually can be spelled either way.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They do that so its the same amount of letters as 'dunkin' so they can put the words on top of eachother. Thats what makes sense to me anyways.

Seriously?! I thought it WAS spelled donuts... That's way I've been spelling it... I knew something wasn't right! xD

by Anonymous 13 years ago

My friends always yell at me because I've always spelled it "doughnuts." They tell me I'm wrong, but I just tell them I'm an English major, so I should know. XD

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Doughnuts is the British way to spell it, donuts is the American way. They're both correct.
