Actually, "Mother Nature" and "Mother Earth" are considered the same deity, Earth being synonymous with nature. In a lot of mythology, the world was born from Mother Earth/Nature and Father Sky, the prime example of this being Gaia, the Earth, and her husband Uranus, the sky, who in Greek mythology gave birth to the Titans, and them, the Olympians, beginning civilization as we know it.
