I only got a talk about my period. For all the other stuff, my mom and dad were like "NOOOOO WAYYYY. The school offers to teach you about those... things... " When my mom talked to me about my period, she was all "you're probably gonna be shocked and embarrassed, but don't worry" but when I finally got it, I went up to her and was like "I need a pad. k?" with no emotion at all

when i got my period i told my dad and he was like "uh... well, you... um... know... what to, y'know, do?" thankfully i had older sisters, so i didn't have to go to the grocery store with him to get tampons or anything.
