A lot of people do that, not just teachers... But I kind of get where they're coming from, cuz I like people to look at me when I'm talking to them.

i know a lot of people do that, but its the teachers who usually reprimand you the most for 'not listening' i understand why people might want that, but still. sometimes where you are sitting you just cant look at them, or you focus better you dont have to follow them around the room. i see your point though.

Having to follow someone around the room just so you're looking at them sucks. I get it in a one on one situation, but to expect 20+ people to stare at you while you jabber in about something they'll only use til next Friday is ridiculous.

The high school I went to only had like 45 people in it, so we were all in the same class.

We were a continuation school. All the bad kids and the good kids who wanted to finish faster. I grew up in a town of only 24 people. California is so weird.

lolz. ive kinda wanted to go to california, see what all the fuss is about (no offense or anything)but i dont think i will anytime soon. im sure the weather is better than massashusetts' though.
